Hi Tadd31!

I'm Roberto, a member of the team that promoted The Italian Experience around various European countries.

Most of the video you see comes from the activation tour - the project has just taken off - and that's the reason why the videos seem to be the result of a professional casting + shooting.

However, reality has been our first goal and the whole project has been build on the idea that “there's nothing more genuine and transparent than normal people in their all-day-so-natural offline behaviour”.

That's why there has been no professional casting to find the protagonist of the videos on theitalianexperience.com. Each person you see has been caught on the street and invited to “ask something” or to “reply to someone”, without any sort of selection by our staff.

We do believe and afford on 100% genuine UGC.

Agreed with you in spending quality time with the kids and making sure they try new things, that's what parents should do.

I am glad to hear that some mums have time for themselves, the ones I know are working and trying to organise an afternoon of food testing is sadly not on their priority list or on their shopping budget.

I was just reading about some poor child that was starved to death in the UK... anything that promotes quality time with parents and children has to be a good thing! also yes: most of the mom's I know log into facebook as soon as the kids r at school... seems like a good way to approach them realy in my book, If u don't have a garden, there's always a window... a couple of pot's and dirt/seeds and you can pretty much grow anything... surely that's got to be a good thing to teach children and atleast it will keep them off the x-box/ps3 what ever even if it's only for a few minuits every day!

Maybe you would share it because it is cool. So many of these "customize your experience" apps fall down either because people don't wish to customize them, or because they simply can't handle the load. Keeping it simple produces less hurdles and less chance to screw things up.

I have to respectfully disagree. I'm an interactive project manager, Honda lover and consumer. I saw this site and was blown away. It was ridiculously creative, fast to load which impressed the techy side of me, and terribly clever. I spent roughly 15 mins. interacting with this site which is pretty incredible seeing as how the sites main purpose is to market and sell cars. I was entertained and educated on the perks of the FIT which I assume this site was meant to do. I even found myself checking out the Honda FIT next to me on my drive in to work this morning. This definitely appealed to the "Honda" in me - artsy, playful, on the go. My little brother was near by when I was playing all the games and he got sucked in too. This was one site that really made me miss the agency life. I was a little envious that I wasn't a part of such a great project. Well done RPA.

Indeed, showing politicians as human beings is always a good thing, they are close to the people they represent. I still think Tweetminster should be about politic and the issues of the day, show me that you fight for my rights... a politician should not try to become a minor celebrity via tweetminster. With the job come responsibilities, you haven't been elected for the perks of the job, and considering the current economical climate, modesty should be the word of the day.
